Ok… so that’s 2 months and a bit….

Not really a good start… get ready for the excuses…

So, to start with had quite a few business trips to start with, plus the parents were here so didn't really want to start with them around.

Then, after one trip to the UK, in the plane on the way back I got a sharp pain in my right side and then had trouble breathing. Long story short, after seeing my GP here (who WRONGLY diagnosed Asthma) then going to see my Osteopath (who RIGHTLY) diagnosed Liver problems, went to see my old GP in France, who, after blood tests and ultra-sounds, confirmed the liver problem.

So here I am, 32 years old, over weight and with a liver problem! The solution to the liver problem is fairly simple! Lose weight and do more exercise… oh, and don't eat fatty foods…

The problem there being that we don't eat fatty foods – I think it's mainly a lack of Sport (activity)…

In the past I've followed a High Protein diet (Insudiet in France : www.insudiet.fr). I've found the same one here in CH (www.eurodiet.ch / www.phytolis.ch) but can't find anyone that will prescribe it!!!! GGGrrrr L

So, looks like I'm going to do something else until I solve the HP diet…

Hmmmm, nice…

So, going to try a mix of Paul Mckenna, and FHM's ultimate Abs Plan (although I'm not after a six pack)!!!! And see how it goes…


 

Next step –

  1. Decide Program
  2. Set 'Fitness' Targets (swimming, running, join sports club)…
  3. Set menu's….
  4. Blog on regular basis as a sort of diary to follow progress…

Getting there

So, other than the WWW I haven't actually told anyone what I'm planning...

Check list:
1) Decide exactly what I'm going to do (sort of have an idea thanks to FHM magazine).
2) Take photos to be able to track progress
3) Weigh self (have got one of those scales that gives BMI also)...
4) Take measurements (Waist, Thigh, Chest...)
5) Publish the above.
6) Start loosing weight...


all this before the 1st of Jan.. and with my parents who have just arrived....

3 Days before change happens

Ok guys. So this blog isn't about new years resolutions... I try to avoid making resolutions! That way you're not annoyed when you break them!

2010 for me is going to be change. I'm hoping to use this blog to track my progress, get motivation and well generally change... My number one project is to loose weight. I'll put more details about that next time. Not sure if I'll be updating daily or not.

I'd also like to change jobs, move (buy a house somewhere), start a company (a shop of some sort or a hotel in an old castle) oh and take Helicopter lessons. Ok, so that all takes money... If I want change to happen then I'll find the money!

Watch this space...
